What's the name of the first game you played on the video?

It won't let me make a PSN account. Every time I go to it, it loads before an error screen pops up.

Is pspunk is operational? I've tried getting onto the site for the past few days but no matter what device or browser I use it comes up with a 504 Gateway Error 😭😭

If you look around you can find custom firmware to flash to this card. One well known one is known as SCFW. The big feature is it adds SDHC support so you can use 4GB and larger cards. ;) I recommend you have a DS/DS Lite before flashing any custom fw to this as the recovery unbrick tool SC made is only usable on DS/DS Lite consoles. You can't unbrick on of these with just a GBA. ;) SCFW also allows you to use unpatched roms as it auto patches everything itself including some new waitstate patches to help speed up some games that suffer from the slower timings this card has (like Super Mario kart). Using SCFW might also resolve your issue with GBA player on GameCube. Though no one's reported that one before so not sure if it will. Wouldn't hurt to try though! :D

All I get are the Chinese flash cards. Was always hard to get everdrives etc in Australia. If you just want to play games they are fine, it’s more advanced features on some of the everdrives that make them worth the money. Also for years they would hardly produce these in large numbers and you had to sign up for wait lists or join their patreon and contribute to get one earlier. For 90% of people this wasn’t an option.

Sattelaview and sega channel very innovative. Much better than the 32x and virtual boy.

Awesome that some of these games play great. Call me spoiled but games at less than 20 FPS are just unaccepted to me.

it obviously wasnt a tiny catridge like they show. that redish part clealy opens up for a larger more standard sized cartridge

I liked the video but I wanted to know how to increase/fix the brightness cause I find it to be dim in my opinion and having to put it in view of natural or torch light to see the screen but unless there's no way to turn up the brightness that without the screen mod then I guess I could just put up with what I have

Quite a nice, full dive on the history of the XBAND releases. Truly takes me back to "those days" man! ;) If I were going to improve the video, I would swap out the elevator background music. Mayber a little more spice/energy there.
